Well hello there! With travel in Brian’s future, both business and pleasure, thought I’d share some tried and true Mens’ staples. Through the years, Brian has honed in on his own personal style and this lookbook of sorts is just that. Brian’s wardrobe go-tos both at home, at work and on the road.
Years ago, Brian ditched the traditional briefcase for this backbag. It’s sporty and yet somehow still works when he’s dressed in a suit for more formal business meetings. We recently ordered this travel bag for Brian (currently 30% off with code REFRESH). It easily fits everything he needed for a 4 day business trip and is sized right as a carry-on. With office attire becoming more and more casual (and for those work from home days), these sweatshirts have become a weekly go-to for Brian. They’re the perfect flight companion and paired with these sneaks (if in between sizes, size down) and sunnies, it’s an ultra comfortable look that still feels pulled together.
During multi day business travel, pieces that can double up are key to traveling lightly. Brian’s go-to chinos are these and these buttom shirts are a forever classic (currenlty 30% off, so I’d stock up on some prints). Sweaters, including this yellow one (size up for a more relaxed fit) paired with a timeless belt and loafers make for a collected, yet again comfortable, outfit for the office or business travel.
Fun fact…years and years ago (in what feels like a previous life), I worked in Men’s Fashion. I loved the no-fuss design aestetic and loved that when it comes to currating a man's wardrobe, it’s as simple as creating a foundation of basics, then adding and layering in pieces for seasonality and personality. Same concept goes with women, but somehow men’s ware seems to be more streamlined with less options overall. Simply put…in my experience dressing Men is waaaaaaaay easier than the Women. Here’s to currating those closets! Both for yourself and the ones you love.
xxo,
Michelle
