And it's finished!
Over three days, I took 45 minutes during nap times and an hour an evening to complete the wallpaper in our dining / breakfast nook. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the personality this wallpaper brought to the space! Fun, colorful and best of all washable!
I purchased three rolls of this Serena & Lily Radish Wallpaper a few weeks back during one of their 25% off sales. I ended up using a little over two rolls to complete the space. Being that this was only my second time wallpapering, and the first time wallpapering a space with corners, windows and doors, I took sometime to watch a few how-to videos. The ones I found most helpful were here, here, & here. They're a little long and drawn out, but I promise they're worth the investment in time if you're planning to wallpaper yourself.
And in case you missed it yesterday, I shared this video. You can jump half way through to see me hanging it myself.
There's still quite a few things that need to be finished. The sliding doors on the left hide the washer & dryer and our plan is to have those moved elsewhere in the house. That fan's got to go! And while the floor isn't my favorite (cheap tile), we're keeping it in the meantime, until we decide on the final kitchen renovation, which frankly may be awhile.
In the meantime, I'm off to take P & K to the park. It's suppose to be a gorgeous day here in Atlanta! Happy Weekend Friends!
