Hands down one of the best additions we’ve made to our space has been this playhouse!!! It’s been a castle, a fort, a shop, a ship…it’s the place where childhood imaginations roam free and mamas find a moment of peace. Blocks are stacked and knocked down inside these walls…tea parties with teddies and dolls…trucks dig and build…superheros soar and win. It’s been played in all four seasons, through rain, sun and wind.. It’s small, but mighty and worth every bit of effort and dollar. For our kids are little once…and this, at least for us, has created so many childhood adventures, dreams and memories! So, before this summer…if you’ve been constantly on the fence, I hope this too may inspire you to create a special place for your most special peeps, I have a feeling you won’t regret it!
We’ve been getting a lot of love for our little playhouse lately, which of course has us blushing! After giving it a mini makeover last summer, (see the before and after post here), we’ve gotten a lot of questions and shares. To hopefully make it a little easier for you, I’ve included all the details and sources at the end of this post (if you’re looking for the building plans, click here), and of course you can come visit me over on Instagram for more regular chats and updates :) Like always thank you for your continued support!!!
