Our dreary Atlanta weather this week has me dreaming of sunny warm days ahead. A traditon of sorts this time of year as I begin to slowly transition the warmer wardrobe staples for light and airy ones. Speaking of which, I have once again found myself at an unhealthy weight and therefore an entire closet of clothes that don’t fit. I tend to wear my stress (and the late night take out orders don’t help, ha!) Maybe some of you can currently relate. But alas, life is too short to beat yourself up and if anything I’ve learned it’s that a couple of good outfits, that fit properly, give you that boost of confidence once again. And I tend to find that inner confidence also does the trick to once again motivate me to make it a priority to get healthy. All that to say I’m loving this cotton bright green dress, $19.99. H & M always has good affordable options, but you’ve got to move quickly as they do sell quick. Also eyeing this and this blue dress! In the splurge department, I’ve been swooning over this floral number for awhile, as some of my favorite dresses are from this brand. And this designer is a tried and true favorite as well! This classic blue and white stripe dress would be the perfect summer staple. Speaking of summer and all the mom things, I love a good large carry all for all the snacks and such during days out and about with the kids. These field totes have caught my eye in addition to this beautiful hydrangea clutch. I envision it as the perfect ensemble to a spring wedding or garden party. And lastly, and quite frankly most importantly when my self care is lacking and confidence bruised, a good, cozy set of well made pajamas! And THIS brand hands down has the most buttery soft pima cotton. A splurge for sure, but if there is one thing you really invest in, these would be it!
Take care of yourself friends!
xxo,
Michelle
