Tybee Island has had a very special place in my heart for quite some time. And this past visit was extra special. Long walks on the beach, lazy days rocking on the porch and some much needed r & r. My parents and brother came for a couple days, which made the trip super fun!
It was nice to enjoy this sleepy beach town during the off season, and at times it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves.
A few days ago I shared the interior of the beautiful beach house we stayed in [read more of that post here] ~ it seriously was a treat to stay there! One of the best parts about it was the central location. An easy walk onto the beach, and literally right across the street was our favorite Tybee restaurant...
The food is wonderful ~ I highly recommend the fish tacos or fish & chips plate. Add a side of sweet patatas and a blood orange sangria for the perfect lunch. Live music happens most evenings and if you happen to be in town on Sunday, head over their for the live Bluegrass and Brunch!
We also tried two new restaurants....
and our new favorite...
Needless to say, the trip was a great one and I'm already counting down the days until we can go again!
