Imagine a place...
close to the sea,
nestled under a live oak,
where evenings are spent sipping cocktails with the soft glow of string lights above,
where the wine is hand picked and the food,
well, the food is simply divine,
the setting...
a quaint restored cottage,
where the location feels more like dining at a dear friend's rather than a restaurant.
Sigh.
Yeah, well that place exists.
And it's just as magical as it sounds. Rather [dare I say] perfect.
The brainchild of Kurtis & Sarah Schumm [whom I adore!]. It's one of three restaurants [all different in design & concept], that the duo have opened. It's the perfect definition of casual fine dining. The lobster risotto is out of this world and the braised short ribs were spectacular! The perfect spot for a cozy date night! The interior is stunning, but you're just going to have to see that for yourself!
So, the next time you find yourself down south, book a reservation at Tybee Island Fish Camp and tell them Michelle sent you! xo
